The SPRS SUPPORTS IN PRINCIPLE the intent of the Ministry for Environment’s proposal to address “hard to recycle” packaging however says that "hard to recycle" now does not necessarily mean "hard to recycle" in the future.

Kellogg’s has worked with Stonefields School in Auckland to provide two planter boxes made from New Zealand soft plastics to educate students on recycling and give their gardening space a sustainable refresh.

Taranaki residents will soon be able to recycle their soft plastics for the very first time, with collection bins being made available at Countdown Hāwera, Stratford, Spotswood, New Plymouth Central, The Valley and Vogeltown from Monday 19 October.
